Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating)

This is a surprisingly common problem yet it is undertreated because of lack of awareness and it’s embarrassing nature.

No more worrying about your clothes, no more restrictions on which colours and materials you can wear.

Botox (Botulium Toxin) injections can be effectively used to treat hyperhidrosis (that is, excessive sweating), typically in the underarm area.

When injected into the skin, it blocks the signals from the nervous system that supply the sweat glands, temporarily reducing their activity.

Retreatment is typically needed in four to six months. Over time, however, patients can go longer between treatments.

Botox is considered the most effective and safest treatment for excessive sweating.

For some people, it drastically improves their quality of life.
